The ESP LTD M-10 guitar pack comes with their lowest cost version of their M Series guitars and an ESP-10 10watt amp. It features a M-Series body shape, dual humbucking pickups, 10-watt amp, 6 inch speaker, guitar strap, gig bag, cable, and electronic tuner.
The body is made of basswood and has no binding (white plastic edge). The body shape is the same as that used in the M-Series guitars. It comes with a string-thru-body tailpiece and tun-o-matic bridge. It's only available with a black finish. The 25.5 inch scale length neck is great for normal sized players. The fret spacing may be too large for smaller players. The neck is made of maple and is bolted on to the body using 4 bolts. The fretboard (the material where the frets are) is made of rosewood and comes with dot inlay position markers and a name inlay at the 12th fret.
The pickups and electronics consist of two ESP LH-100 humbucking pickups, a volume and tone control, and a 3-way pickup selector. The pickups are great for the cost of the guitar but aren't as powerful as many metal-kids would like. If they are a beginner then it probably won't matter. The guitar amp is solid-state with an output power of 10 watts in to a 6 inch speaker. There is a volume control and an overdrive switch for getting more distorted sounds. There’s also a 3-band EQ. It’s good for practicing but may not be powerful enough for playing in a group. The amp features a headphone output that when plugged in to the speaker is disconnected. This will allow the guitarist to practice in silence.
