The Focus 505 can be equipped with 1 or 2 Wireless ( WR ) UHF receiver module(s). The UHF module is a PLL synthesized type module with 16 selectable preset frequencies.

Please note - when either 1 or 2 wireless options are selected, a plug-in cord microphone is not included with the package (but can still be purchased seperately).

All versions come with an AUX-IN jack which will allow you to plug an MP3 player/ipod into the unit.

All versions come with a MIC-IN jack which will allow you to plug a corded Microphone into the unit (which can work at the same time as the wireless mics). Please note - the corded mic only comes with the basic unit (i.e. when wireless mic's are not purchased. If a wireless system is purchased, you can still purchase the corded mic (and cable) as an optional accessory - they are quite cheap.

An "Aeromic" sweatproof headset and transmitter can also be purchased with the Focus 505. This is the perfect setup for aerobic instructors both inside and outdoor. See the pic below for the special AM10 Aeromic Headset.

A lot of our customers have purchased a spare battery to go with their system as a safety backup in case the ceremony/function goes for longer than expected and the operating battery runs out. It is a fairly simple exercise - just remove the back panel (clips not screws) and swap over the batteries. The batteries simply have 2 push on terminals.

Upgrades

It is important to think about how you will use the unit both now and in the future as upgrading the Focus can only be done by our service department/approved service agent. Unfortunately its not as simple as plugging in extra modules as they must also be hard wired to the main circuitboard inside the unit. It is best to consider all the options prior to purchasing the Focus. For example, if you purchase a Focus-505 with a single wireless handheld microphne and decide a year later you require another wireless microphone, the unit will need to be sent off to our service department to have the second wireless receiver module fitted. It is the same scenario for the CD/MP3 player.
